1. Overview
Chiropedic Bedding Pty Ltd stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faulty materials, ensuring your investment in quality sleep is protected.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Warranty Period
Mattresses: 1 to 20 years, depending on the model, from date of delivery.
1.2 Who Is Covered?
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Proof of purchase must be provided (receipt or order confirmation).
Warranty identification is linked to the email address and/or phone number recorded at purchase.
If a different email or phone number is used during a claim, Chiropedic Bedding may request matching identification before proceeding.
1.3 What This Warranty Covers
Manufacturing Defects
• Splitting or cracking of foam, latex, or mattress materials (not caused by misuse)
• Springs/support systems that become loose, broken, or protrude
• Structural defects affecting performance
Cover & Construction Issues
• Defective zippers
• Fabric tearing or unravelling due to workmanship
• Border or binding separation
Mattress-in-a-Box/Bag
• Mattress shorter or narrower than standard size by >30mm once fully expanded
• Mattress that fails to fully inflate after 30 days of regular use
Sagging & Body Impressions
Covered if indentation is greater than 30mm, provided:
• Proper foundation was used
• Mattress was rotated as required
• Indentation is not natural settling
Note: Body impressions up to 30mm are normal. Natural fibres settle more than synthetic ones. A small centre hump in Queen/King mattresses is also normal.
2. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
2.1 Normal Wear & Characteristics
• Normal softening of materials
• Body impressions ≤ 30mm
• Fabric creasing from compression
• Cosmetic imperfections not affecting performance
• Pilling, loose threads, normal ageing
2.2 Comfort Preferences
• Personal comfort changes
• Firmness dissatisfaction
• Heat/temperature concerns
• Mattress weight concerns
2.3 Damage from Misuse or Abuse
• Burns, cuts, tears, punctures, stains
• Liquid damage
• Pet or pest damage
• High-impact activities (jumping, standing, wrestling)
• Negligent handling
• Extreme temperature exposure
2.4 Improper Care & Maintenance
• Failure to rotate mattress
• Mould, mildew, moisture damage
• Unsanitary conditions
• Improper cleaning
• Odours
• Lifting mattress using handles (not designed for lifting)
2.5 Improper Foundation or Support
• Slats with gaps over 10cm (uncovered) or 15cm (covered)
• Curved, flexible, posture, or euro slats
• Sagging or uneven bed bases
• Bases without centre supports (Double, Queen, King)
2.6 Other Exclusions
• “As-is”, used, or unauthorised retailer purchases
• Commercial use (hotels, Airbnb, rentals)
• Modified or repaired products
• Damage after delivery acceptance
• Missing/defaced tags (may void warranty)
• Comfort exchange products
3. Foundation Requirements
3.1 Slat Base Requirements
• Maximum gap: 10cm uncovered or 15cm covered
• Smooth timber slats, securely fastened
• Solid centre support in Double, Queen, King
• Breathable pad recommended between mattress and slats
Note: Curved, posture, flexible, or euro slats are not approved.
3.2 Solid Platform Requirements
• Minimum 2cm thickness
• Adequate ventilation holes
• Must be firm, flat, supportive
3.3 Recommended Foundations
• Chiropedic Bedding bases
• Quality ensemble bases
• Compliant platform beds

4. Care & Maintenance Requirements
4.1 Mandatory Mattress Rotation
First month: Rotate every 2 weeks
After first month: Rotate monthly
Single-sided: Head-to-foot only
Double-sided: Flip + rotate
Failure to rotate may void claims related to uneven wear.
4.2 Mattress Protector Requirement
A waterproof, breathable protector must always be used.
Failure to use one may void warranty or require sanitation certification.
4.3 General Care
• Keep clean and dry
• Provide good room ventilation
• Allow 24–72 hours for new mattress odour to dissipate
• Do not bend, fold, or carry using handles
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

5.3 Our Right to Inspect
We may:

• Inspect the product
• Require factory return for assessment
6. Warranty Resolution
6.1 If Claim Approved
At our discretion, we will:
• Repair the product, or
• Replace with same or comparable model
Materials may be substituted if originals are unavailable.
6.2 Transportation Costs
• First 12 months: We cover pickup/delivery
• After 12 months: Customer pays transport costs
6.3 Warranty Period Continuation
Repairs or replacements do not restart the warranty period.
7. Return Requirements
7.1 Sanitisation Certificate
If mattress is visibly marked/stained, customer must provide professional sanitisation certificate before pickup.
7.2 Preparing Mattress for Return
- We send bag + carrier label
- Pack mattress securely
- Seal properly
- Have it at ground-floor front door for pickup
8. Warranty Limitations
8.1 No Refunds Under Warranty
Only repair or replacement applies unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
8.2 Consequential Damages Not Covered
Does not cover inconvenience, property damage, or incidental losses.
9. Holiday Processing
Claims submitted Dec 1 – Jan 30 are processed after Jan 30.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.
Major failures may entitle you to a refund or replacement.
11. General Terms
11.1 Entire Agreement – These are the full warranty terms.
11.2 Modifications – Terms may change without notice.
11.3 Governing Law – Victoria, Australia.
11.4 Severability – Invalid sections do not void others.
